The Xiaomi Mi Max has a general score of 77.5, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s's 76.4 general score. Even though the Xiaomi Mi Max and Xiaomi Mi 5s were released only 5 months apart, Xiaomi Mi Max's design is a bit thinner but also a lot heavier. Xiaomi Mi 5s features a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Max, although it has a lower number of cores (but faster), they both have 4 GB of RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi 5s has a sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also counts with a little bit higher amount of pixels in each screen inch. The Xiaomi Mi Max features a much bigger storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a camera that's just as good as the camera in Xiaomi Mi Max, and although the Xiaomi Mi 5s has a lower 3840x2160 video quality and a lot less mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera, they both have a same size diafragm aperture. Xiaomi Mi Max features a much longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 52 percent larger battery size.
