Google Pixel XL is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, getting a overall score of 81.3 against 81.2. The Google Pixel XL is an older and thicker cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, but Google made it a bit lighter anyway. The Google Pixel XL features a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a better pixels quantity per inch of display.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a bit more powerful CPU than Google Pixel XL, because it has a larger amount of RAM and more CPU cores. The Google Pixel XL captures a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Google Pixel XL also has a way larger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot better image quality and a more mega-pixels camera.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Google Pixel XL, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. Google Pixel XL features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has 3450mAh of battery capacity instead of 3400mAh.
Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
