Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is just a bit better than Huawei P20, with a global score of 81.2 against 78.1. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 design has the same thickness than the Huawei P20, but it is somewhat heavier. The Huawei P20 features a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit greater pixels count per screen inch and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a little faster CPU than Huawei P20, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a much bigger memory for games and applications than Huawei P20, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity.
Huawei P20's battery performance is very similar to the battery performance in Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. Huawei P20 features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Huawei P20 also has a larger camera aperture and a much bigger sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei P20. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Huawei P20, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
