Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is slightly better than the LG V30, getting a overall score of 81.2 against 79.1. Even though Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is better than LG V30, we must tell that it's also a a bit thicker and somewhat heavier phone. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a bit faster processing unit than LG V30, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has 2 GB more RAM.
The LG V30 has a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have a display of the same size, the LG V30 also has a higher count of pixels per inch of screen and a higher 1440 x 2880px resolution. The LG V30 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a tinier sensor shooting worse quality videos and images, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same video quality, the LG V30 also counts with a much more mega-pixels back camera and a bigger aperture.
LG V30 features a better memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with just a bit longer battery lifetime than LG V30, because it has a 3% bigger battery size.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG V30, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V30. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get LG V30, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
