Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a general score of 81.2, which is slightly better than OnePlus 8's 76 score. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 construction is just a bit thinner than OnePlus 8, although it is a little bit heavier and was released 3 years before. OnePlus 8 features just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 8 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The OnePlus 8 features a better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a bit larger screen, a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little higher quantity of pixels in each inch of screen. OnePlus 8 shoots a lot better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the OnePlus 8 also has faster video frame rate, a bigger aperture to take better low light images and video, a much bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a camera in the back with a much higher 48 megapixels resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a much bigger memory to store more apps and games than OnePlus 8, because it has more internal memory. OnePlus 8 has improved battery performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a 26% more battery size.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 8. If you want to save some money, you can buy the OnePlus 8, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
