Comparison review
The Galaxy M31s has a score of 88, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's 81.2 overall score. Although Galaxy M31s is a lot newer than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, it is just a bit heavier and somewhat thicker. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy M31s. Both have a 6 GB RAM and 8 processing cores.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and Galaxy M31s both feature incredibly similar screens, although the Galaxy M31s also has a little bit higher pixels density, a bit larger display and a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy M31s has a slightly bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has just 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy M31s captures much better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has a lot larger camera sensor shooting much higher quality photos and videos, a bigger diafragm aperture and a much better 64 MP resolution camera in the back.
The Galaxy M31s features a really longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a 76% more battery capacity.
