Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has an overall score of 81.2, which is slightly better than Galaxy S6 edge+'s 79.3 score. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a much newer device than the Galaxy S6 edge+, but it is just a little bit thicker and heavier. Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a much better display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and more pixels per inch of display.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with much more memory to install games and applications than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 256 GB internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a greater number of faster cores and a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy S6 edge+ has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also has a way more mega-pixels back facing camera, a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing better quality videos and pictures and a bigger camera aperture to capture better photography and videos in poorly lited environments.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 13% larger battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it costs more money than Galaxy S6 edge+, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S6 edge+. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, else you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy S6 edge+, resigning some specifications.
