The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has an overall score of 88.9, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Note Edge's 81.7 score. Even though Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is way newer than the Galaxy Note Edge, it's thicker and much heavier. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a more recent 10 version and Galaxy Note Edge has Android 5.0 version, so it gives you lots of additional features and performance tweaks.
The Galaxy Note Edge has a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has a much smaller display and a bit lower 2560 x 1440 resolution, it also counts with a higher pixel number in each inch in the screen. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with 9 GB more RAM and a greater number of cores. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a slightly better camera than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels, a much bigger aperture and a much bigger camera sensor taking way better quality pictures and videos.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 35 percent more battery capacity.
