Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 4 has an overall score of 84.3, which is slightly better than Motorola Edge 50's 81.2 score. Although Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 4 and Motorola Edge 50 were only released with a couple months difference, Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 4's design is noticeably thinner but much heavier than Motorola Edge 50. Both phones in this comparison come with the same Android 14 operating system, so you shouldn't perceive any differences in that aspect.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 4 has a little more vivid screen than Motorola Edge 50, because although it has a little bit worse pixels density, it also counts with a really brighter display, a larger display and a higher resolution of 2224 x 2488 pixels. Motorola Edge 50's processor is just as good as Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 4's CPU, and although the Motorola Edge 50 has 4 GB lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 4 takes slightly better photographs and videos than Motorola Edge 50, and although they both have a back facing camera with a 50 mega-pixels resolution, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 4 also has a way higher 7680x4320 video resolution, a larger sensor providing a better image quality and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better captures and videos in low light situations.
The Motorola Edge 50 has as much storage to install games and applications as Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 4, both of them have exactly the same internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 4 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Motorola Edge 50, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity.
