Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX is just a bit better than OnePlus 8, with a 76.2 score against 76. Xiaomi Mi MIX is a heavier cellphone than OnePlus 8, but they are equally thin. OnePlus 8 counts with a little bit better display than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because it has a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a lot brighter screen, a just a little greater screen density and a little larger screen.
OnePlus 8 counts with a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because it has a larger number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. The OnePlus 8 takes greater photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have the same video quality, the OnePlus 8 also has better 60 fps video frame rates, a back-facing camera with a way better resolution, a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photography and video and a way bigger camera sensor providing a way higher image quality.
The OnePlus 8 features as much storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as the Xiaomi Mi MIX, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Mi MIX features a bit superior battery life than OnePlus 8, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity instead of 4300mAh.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as OnePlus 8. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Xiaomi Mi MIX, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the OnePlus 8, letting go some specifications.
