Comparison review
The Xperia XZ3 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, getting a overall score of 79.6 against 76.2. Xperia XZ3's body is newer and just a bit lighter, but also incredibly thicker than the Xiaomi Mi MIX. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but the Xperia XZ3 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Mi MIX has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, so it provides you a lot of extra features and optimized performance.
Xperia XZ3 counts with a brighter display than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a bit brighter display, a better resolution of 1440 x 2880 and a better screen density. The Sony Xperia XZ3 counts with a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Sony Xperia XZ3 also has more processing cores.
The Xperia XZ3 features more memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows up to 512 GB. Xperia XZ3 has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a F2 aperture and the same video quality, the Xperia XZ3 also has a more MP back facing camera and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor capturing much better quality videos and photos.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX features superior battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi MIX. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
