Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 5s has an overall score of 76.4, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi MIX's score of 76.2. Even though Xiaomi Mi 5s and the Xiaomi Mi MIX were released with only a couple of months difference, Xiaomi Mi 5s's construction is a little bit thicker but notably lighter. These phones work with the same Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, so they should offer very similar operating system features.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s and Xiaomi Mi MIX count with very similar processing units, both of them have 4 GB of RAM and a Quad-Core processing unit. Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a little lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better screen pixel density and a little brighter display.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX captures a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a way tinier sensor capturing less light and duller colors, and they both have the same aperture, the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Mi MIX also counts with a way better 16 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
Xiaomi Mi 5s's memory for applications and games is very similar to the Xiaomi Mi MIX one, both have equal internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi MIX features a really longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s not only is the best phones in our current comparison, but it's also a lot cheaper, which makes this phone a no doubt choice.
