Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is just a bit better than Google Nexus 5, with a 76 score against 76. Even though the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a lot heavier than Google Nexus 5, it's thinner and newer. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a more recent 6.0 Marshmallow version and Google Nexus 5 has Android 4.4.3 version.
The Google Nexus 5 has a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Google Nexus 5 also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. The Google Nexus 5 counts with a better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Google Nexus 5 also counts with a little bit higher display density.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with just a bit better camera than Google Nexus 5, because it has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better images in low light situations, a bigger back-facing camera sensor, a lot better 3840x2160 video quality and a camera in the back with a much better 23 megapixels resolution.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a much greater storage for apps and games than Google Nexus 5, because it has 128 GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a superior battery duration than Google Nexus 5, because it has 4070mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a better device, it costs a little more than the Google Nexus 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Nexus 5. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, else you can save some money and get the Google Nexus 5, giving up a couple features and specifications.
