Comparison review

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a little bit better than the OnePlus 8, getting a general score of 76 against 76. Although the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is older than OnePlus 8, it's design is a bit thinner and just a little lighter. The OnePlus 8 counts with a better display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a bit greater amount of pixels per screen inch, a bit larger screen and a bit higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.

The OnePlus 8 and Xiaomi Mi Note 2 both have really similar memory capacity for games and applications, they have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity. OnePlus 8 features a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has more RAM memory and more CPU cores. OnePlus 8 has a bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a 6 percent more battery capacity.

OnePlus 8 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the OnePlus 8 also has a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a bigger camera aperture for better photos and videos in low light situations and a way more MP camera.

Although Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the OnePlus 8. If you want to save some money, you can buy OnePlus 8, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
