Comparison review
Xperia 5 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, having an 81 score against 76. Xperia 5's design is way newer and a bit lighter than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2's, although it is a little thicker. Xperia 5 features a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Xperia 5 also has 4 more CPU cores.
Xperia 5 has just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a just a little higher pixel count per inch in the screen, a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2520px and a bit bigger screen. Sony Xperia 5 counts with a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Xperia 5 takes much clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a back camera with a way lower 12 MP resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, and they both have the same sensor size, the Xperia 5 also counts with a larger camera aperture to capture better photography in low-light environments.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with improved battery life than Xperia 5, because it has 4070mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi Note 2. If you want to save some money, you can get Xiaomi Mi Note 2, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
