Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone AR has a global score of 77.4, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 3's 75.3 global score. Despite being the best we are comparing here, the Asus ZenFone AR body is thicker and a little bit heavier than the Xiaomi Mi Note 3. Xiaomi Mi Note 3 and Asus ZenFone AR feature incredibly similar displays, although the Asus ZenFone AR also has a better 1440 x 2560px resolution, a higher pixels quantity in each display inch and a little bit bigger display.
Asus ZenFone AR counts with a much greater storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Asus ZenFone AR also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi Note 3 features just a little better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone AR, and although they both have 6 GB of RAM memory, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 also has a higher number of cores (and faster).
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has just a bit longer battery duration than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has a 3500mAh battery size. Asus ZenFone AR captures clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for capturing images and videos in poorly lited environments and slower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Asus ZenFone AR also counts with a much more mega pixels back-facing camera.
