Comparison review
The Google Nexus 5 has a general score of 76, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 3's 75.3 overall score. Although Google Nexus 5 is incredibly older and thicker than the Xiaomi Mi Note 3, it's body is still a lot lighter. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS, but Google Nexus 5 has 4.4.3 version and Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo.
Google Nexus 5's CPU is just as good as Xiaomi Mi Note 3's processing unit, because although the Google Nexus 5 has a lower number of cores and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit. Google Nexus 5 features a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, the Google Nexus 5 also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of display.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 features much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Google Nexus 5, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has a better camera than Google Nexus 5, because it has a camera with a way better 12 MP resolution, a much larger diafragm aperture and a lot better 3840x2160 video definition.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 counts with a way better battery performance than Google Nexus 5, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Google Nexus 5 is a better device, it is a bit more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi Note 3. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Google Nexus 5, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi Note 3, giving up some specifications.
