The Galaxy Note9 has an overall score of 87.1, which is better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 3's score of 75.3. Even though the Galaxy Note9 is newer than the Xiaomi Mi Note 3, it's heavier and somewhat thicker. The Galaxy Note9 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 3. Both have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM.
Galaxy Note9 features a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, because it has a larger display, a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a higher pixels count in each display inch. Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, and although they both have a 12 mega-pixels camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has higher 60 fps video frame rates and a larger aperture for better images in low light situations.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a little longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
The Galaxy Note9 is a bit more expensive than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
