Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ1 has an overall score of 78.3, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi Note 3's 75.3 general score. Sony Xperia XZ1's design is just a little bit lighter and a bit thinner than the Xiaomi Mi Note 3, even though both were released only a couple months apart. Xiaomi Mi Note 3 counts with a bit better looking display than Xperia XZ1, because although it has a little bit less pixels per inch of display, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 1920px resolution, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 also counts with a little bit bigger screen.
Xperia XZ1 has a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Xperia XZ1 has a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Xperia XZ1 captures a little bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Note 3, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking pictures or video in low light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a much better 19 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 features better battery performance than Xperia XZ1, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity instead of 2700mAh.
Although Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Mi Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Mi Note 3. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Xiaomi Mi Note 3, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
