Comparison review
Xiaomi Mix Flip is a bit better than the Galaxy A8 Star, having a global score of 83.2 against 82.1. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mix Flip has older 14 version while Galaxy A8 Star has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Xiaomi Mix Flip construction has the same thickness than the Galaxy A8 Star, but it is a little bit lighter.
Xiaomi Mix Flip features a much more vibrant display than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a little bit greater display pixels density, a quite bigger screen and a better 1224 x 2912px resolution. Xiaomi Mix Flip has a better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star counts with a much better performing CPU than Xiaomi Mix Flip, although it has less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Xiaomi Mix Flip takes better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Xiaomi Mix Flip also has a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution and a lot higher 7680x4320 video definition.
The Xiaomi Mix Flip has improved battery life than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has 4780mAh of battery capacity against 3700mAh.
