Both phones we compare here use Android OS, but LG V50 ThinQ has older 10 version while Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has Android 9.0 Pie. Although LG V50 ThinQ and the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro were released with only 2 months difference, LG V50 ThinQ's design is a little bit lighter but also a bit thicker.

LG V50 ThinQ counts with a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro. Both have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core processor. LG V50 ThinQ features a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, because it has a better resolution of 1440 x 3120, a bit larger screen and a better quantity of pixels per inch of screen.

Xiaomi Note 7 Pro shoots much clearer videos and photos than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light photos and videos and slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same video definition, the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro also counts with a back-facing camera with much more megapixels and a way larger back camera sensor capturing way better quality photos and videos.

LG V50 ThinQ features a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a SD card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The LG V50 ThinQ features a battery performance that is very similar to the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro one.
