Comparison review
The Xperia 5 has an overall score of 81, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro's 80.5 global score. The Xperia 5 is a somewhat lighter device than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, but both of them are equally thin. The Xperia 5 features just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro. Both have a 6 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Xperia 5 features just a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2520 and a just a little more pixels per inch of display. The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has a much better camera than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light images and videos, and they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality.
Xperia 5 features a lot bigger storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia 5 also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has greater battery life than Sony Xperia 5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3140mAh.
