Comparison review
The Galaxy A12 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Poco M3, getting an 80.3 score against 78.2. Although the Galaxy A12 and the Xiaomi Poco M3 were only released with a couple of months difference, the Galaxy A12 design is just a little heavier but also a little thinner. Both phones we compare here come with the same Android 10 operating system.
Xiaomi Poco M3 has a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A12, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a better pixel density and a way better resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Galaxy A12 has a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Poco M3. Both have 4 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor.
Galaxy A12 has a greater memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy A12 also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 1 TB. The Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with improved battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A12, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 shoots a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy A12, and although they both have a back camera with a 48 MP, the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a larger aperture to take better captures and video in low-light environments.
