The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a global score of 87.1, which is much better than Xiaomi Poco M3's 78.2 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 construction is a little bit thinner than Xiaomi Poco M3, but it is a little bit heavier and was released many years before. Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Galaxy Note9 counts with a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960 resolution and more pixels per inch in the display. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a lot bigger storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has more internal storage.
Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low-light captures and videos and lower video frame rates, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also counts with a lot bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back camera with way more MP.
Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note9, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Poco M3. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Xiaomi Poco M3, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
