Comparison review
The Xperia 5 is a bit better than Xiaomi Poco M3, with a score of 81 against 78.2. Despite of the fact that the Xperia 5 is older than the Xiaomi Poco M3, it's design is lighter and thinner. Sony Xperia 5 counts with a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2520 pixels resolution and a quite better screen density.
Xperia 5 features a bit superior processor than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 5 also has more RAM memory. Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a superior camera than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light images and video, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also counts with a camera in the back with way more megapixels and a way bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Xperia 5 has a much better memory capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB, the Xperia 5 also has more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Poco M3 features a way better battery duration than Xperia 5, because it has a 91 percent more battery capacity.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Poco M3. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Xperia 5, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Poco M3, letting go a couple specifications.
