Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ3 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Poco M3, with a 79.6 score against 78.2. Despite of the fact the Sony Xperia XZ3 is notably older and a little thicker than Xiaomi Poco M3, it's body is still just a little lighter. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia XZ3 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Poco M3 has Android 10.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 features a better display than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and more pixels per screen inch. The Xperia XZ3 has just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Poco M3. Both have 4 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processor.
Xperia XZ3 and Xiaomi Poco M3 count with very similar storage to install applications and games, they have an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB and exactly the same internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a very superior battery duration than Xperia XZ3, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 3330mAh.
Xiaomi Poco M3 features a little bit better camera than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a camera with a much better 48 mega pixels resolution and a larger aperture to capture better low light photos and videos.
Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Poco M3. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Sony Xperia XZ3, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Poco M3, resigning some features and specifications.
