Comparison review
The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 has a score of 85.5, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 9's 83.2 overall score. Xiaomi Pocophone F1 is a better phone than the Xiaomi Mi 9, it must be noted that it's also just a bit heavier and thicker. The Xiaomi Mi 9 and Xiaomi Pocophone F1 both feature incredibly similar CPUs, and although the Xiaomi Mi 9 has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Xiaomi Mi 9 has just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Pocophone F1, because it has a little larger display, a little bit brighter display, a just a bit higher count of pixels in each screen inch and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2340. Xiaomi Mi 9 shoots much better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Pocophone F1, and although they both have the same 60 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a way bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a way higher image quality, a camera with way more megapixels and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light images.
The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 features a very superior storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has more internal storage capacity and an external memory card slot that admits up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 features greater battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
