Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy J5 has an overall score of 66, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi 1S's general score of 60. These devices include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy J5 has the newer 5.0 version while Xiaomi Redmi 1S has Android 4.3 version, so it gives some nice extra features and improved performance. Samsung Galaxy J5 is a a little lighter and much thinner device than the Xiaomi Redmi 1S.
The Xiaomi Redmi 1S counts with a better performing processor than Samsung Galaxy J5, because although it has 512 MB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores and an additional graphics processing unit. Xiaomi Redmi 1S features a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy J5, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 720px, the Xiaomi Redmi 1S also counts with a quite higher display density.
The Galaxy J5 has a better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 1S, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Galaxy J5 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB. The Galaxy J5 has a better camera than Xiaomi Redmi 1S, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Galaxy J5 also has a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photography in poorly lited environments.
The Galaxy J5 counts with greater battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi 1S, because it has a 2600mAh battery capacity instead of 2000mAh.
In addition to being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, Galaxy J5 is also very cheap compared to the other phones.
