Xiaomi Redmi 4a has a global score of 65.8, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi 1S's 60 score. These phones have Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi 4a has 6.0 Marshmallow version and Xiaomi Redmi 1S has Android 4.3, so it counts with some additional features and enhanced performance. The Xiaomi Redmi 4a design is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi 1S.
Xiaomi Redmi 1S counts with a much better display than Xiaomi Redmi 4a, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the Xiaomi Redmi 1S also counts with a quite higher number of pixels in each display inch. Xiaomi Redmi 4a counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 1S, because it has more internal storage and a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi 1S counts with a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi 4a, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have 4 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Redmi 1S also counts with an additional GPU. The Xiaomi Redmi 4a takes much better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 1S, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, a F2.2 diafragm aperture and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi 4a also has a way more mega pixels camera.
Xiaomi Redmi 4a not only is the best phones between the ones we are comparing here, but it's also by far the cheapest, which makes this phone a no doubt choice.
