Google Pixel XL is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, getting a general score of 81.3 against 71.7. Although Google Pixel XL and Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime were released with only 1 months difference, the Google Pixel XL body is a little heavier but also just a little thinner. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has a bit faster processor than Google Pixel XL, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores.
The Google Pixel XL counts with a bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, a little larger screen and a bit greater display pixels density. The Google Pixel XL takes much clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a worse 12.3 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better low-light captures and videos and a much higher video quality.
The Google Pixel XL features a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime counts with better battery duration than Google Pixel XL, because it has a 19% larger battery size.
Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Google Pixel XL, else you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, letting go some specifications.
