The Xiaomi Mi 5s is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, with a 76.4 score against 71.7. Both phones we are comparing use the same Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s features a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a quite lower screen pixels density, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the Xiaomi Mi 5s also counts with a little bit bigger display. The Xiaomi Mi 5s has much more memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime counts with a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with 4 more CPU cores. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 28 percent more battery capacity. The Xiaomi Mi 5s takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a worse resolution back camera, it also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better low light images and videos and a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Although Xiaomi Mi 5s is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi 5s, else you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, resigning some features and specs.
