Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 5 is better than the Xiaomi Redmi 6, with a score of 84.7 against 72.5. Despite being the best cellphone in our current comparison, Asus ROG Phone 5 is a thicker and a lot heavier cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi 6. Asus ROG Phone 5 has a little faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi 6, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
Asus ROG Phone 5 features a way better display than Xiaomi Redmi 6, because it has a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2448 pixels, a better pixels count per screen inch and a bigger screen. Asus ROG Phone 5 has a greater camera than Xiaomi Redmi 6, because it has a lot more megapixels back-facing camera, a way higher 7680x4320 video quality and a bigger aperture to take better low light captures and videos.
The Xiaomi Redmi 6 has a slightly bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 256 GB. The Asus ROG Phone 5 features a really longer battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi 6, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
