Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi 9T has a global score of 78.2, which is a bit better than the OnePlus 8's 76 general score. Xiaomi Redmi 9T is a newer device than the OnePlus 8, although it is a little heavier and somewhat thicker. OnePlus 8 has just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus 8 also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 has a more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the OnePlus 8 also has a little bit more pixels per inch in the screen and a quite better 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. OnePlus 8 shoots much better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have a 48 mega-pixels camera in the back, a same size aperture and a same size sensor, the OnePlus 8 also has a way better (4K) video quality.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T features a quite bigger memory to store more games and applications than OnePlus 8, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi 9T features a much longer battery duration than OnePlus 8, because it has a 40% greater battery size.
