Comparison review
The Galaxy A8 Star has a general score of 82.1, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S's overall score of 73.9. The Galaxy A8 Star body is just a little thinner but just a little heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S. Both phones we compare here include Android OS, but Galaxy A8 Star has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S has Android 11, so it gives you a couple nice extra features.
The Galaxy A8 Star counts with a much more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy A8 Star also has more RAM. Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S has a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a greater screen density, a lot higher resolution of 2080 x 2400 and a bit bigger screen.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S counts with a greater storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 1 TB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S features improved battery lifetime than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 3700mAh.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for low light photography and a much smaller back-facing camera sensor which gives a much worse image and video quality, it also counts with a lot more mega-pixels back camera.
