Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has an overall score of 91.5, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy M31's general score of 86.5. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer body has the same thickness than the Samsung Galaxy M31, but it's just a little bit heavier. Both phones in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has the newer 12 version and Samsung Galaxy M31 has Android 11 version, so it provides the user some additional features and performance enhancements.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy M31, because although it has a quite lower pixels quantity per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bit larger screen, a much brighter display and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer also has more RAM.
