Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 5s is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, having a 76.4 score against 75.7. Although Xiaomi Mi 5s is much older and a little bit thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, it's design is still noticeably lighter. Both devices in this comparison review have Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 5s has a more recent 6.0 Marshmallow version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 5s have really similar screens, because although the Xiaomi Mi 5s has a much smaller screen, a lot more opaque display and a little bit lower 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little better display pixels density. Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with as much storage for applications, games, photos and videos as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, both of them have the same internal storage.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a much powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM and less cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a very superior battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features a greater camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also has a lot bigger back camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality, a larger aperture to take better photography and video in low light environments and a lot more MP camera.
