Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro, having an 84.2 score against 73.1. Both of these phones work with the same Android 14 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding that. Even being the best cellphone in this review, we must tell that it is also a little thicker and somewhat heavier.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro features a little more vivid display than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1220 x 2712 resolution, a bit better screen pixel density and a bit brighter display. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a little faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also has more RAM memory.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro, because it has 384 GB more internal storage. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's battery life is just as good as the battery performance in Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro captures much clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro, and although they both have a back camera with a 50 mega pixels resolution, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also has a way larger back camera sensor capturing much higher quality photos and videos.
