Comparison review
The LG V30 has a score of 79.1, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4's overall score of 74.1. LG V30's construction is thinner and a little bit lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, although they were released with only a couple months difference. LG V30 counts with a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because it has a greater number of pixels per inch of display, a little bigger display and a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2880px.
The LG V30 features a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. LG V30 features a superior camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because it has a way better (4K) video resolution, a larger camera aperture and a camera with more megapixels.
The LG V30 features a way bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the LG V30 also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features longer battery life than LG V30, because it has 4100mAh of battery capacity.
Although LG V30 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
