Comparison review
Galaxy Note Edge is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, getting a global score of 81.7 against 74.1. Both devices we are comparing have Android OS, but the Galaxy Note Edge has older 5.0 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has Android 7.0 Nougat. The Galaxy Note Edge is a a bit heavier cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, but they have the same thickness.
Galaxy Note Edge features a sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because it has a little bit larger display, a greater pixel quantity in each display inch and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 also has 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Galaxy Note Edge counts with a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because although it has 4 less processing cores (although they are faster) and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features a really longer battery life than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 37 percent larger battery capacity.
Galaxy Note Edge counts with a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for shooting photographs and/or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a better 16 megapixels resolution back-facing camera and a way higher video resolution.
Although Galaxy Note Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
