Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, getting a 79.1 score against 74.1. Xperia XZ2's construction is newer, but heavier and much thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Xperia XZ2 counts with a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because it has a little higher 1080 x 2160 resolution, a little bit bigger screen, a much brighter screen and a little more pixels per screen inch.
Sony Xperia XZ2 has a bit better processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Both have 4 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processor.
