Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has an overall score of 82.1, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X's overall score of 71.8. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, offering a couple nice extra features. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is a newer and just a bit thinner phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, although it's also heavier.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star counts with just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also has 3 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy A8 Star has a screen that's just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X one, because although the Galaxy A8 Star has a little worse pixels amount per inch in the screen, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels and a little larger display.
Galaxy A8 Star has a superior memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 400 GB and 64 GB internal memory. Galaxy A8 Star counts with a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because it has a larger camera aperture to capture better low-light photos and video, a better resolution camera and a much higher video resolution.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X features just a little better battery life than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 4100mAh battery capacity instead of 3700mAh.
