Galaxy S6 edge+ has a general score of 79.3, which is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X's overall score of 71.8. These devices come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S6 edge+ has 5.1 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Galaxy S6 edge+ is an older phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, but it is somewhat thinner and just a bit lighter anyway.
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a much better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because it has a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution, a little bit bigger screen and a better screen pixels density. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X features a bit better CPU than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with more cores.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X features a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 4100mAh battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, letting go some specifications.
