Comparison review
IPhone 8 has a global score of 85, which is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's global score of 75.8. The iPhone 8 design is lighter and just a bit thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, even though both of them were only released 5 months apart. IPhone 8 features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has a quite worse pixel amount in each inch of display, a way worse resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels and a really smaller display.
IPhone 8 features a better performing processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of cores (although faster), it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit. The Apple iPhone 8 takes better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have a 12 mega pixels back facing camera, the Apple iPhone 8 also has a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a bigger aperture to take better photos in low-light environments.
The iPhone 8 has a much greater storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a much longer battery lifetime than iPhone 8, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 1821mAh.
