Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, with a general score of 84.2 against 75.8. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro construction is way newer, but heavier and a bit thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has the older 14 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a brighter screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a just a little lower pixels amount per inch in the screen, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a little bigger display. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a 38 percent more battery capacity.
