Comparison review
The Huawei P20 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, having a overall score of 78.1 against 75.8. Huawei P20's construction is just a bit thinner and just a little bit lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although they were released only a couple months apart. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P20 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version, so it gives you some nice extra features.
Huawei P20 features a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit better display pixel density and a little higher 1080 x 2244 resolution. Huawei P20 features a bit bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
Huawei P20 counts with a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features longer battery performance than Huawei P20, because it has an 18% more battery capacity. Huawei P20 takes much better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have a 12 MP camera in the back, the Huawei P20 also has a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution and a larger camera aperture.
