Comparison review
The OnePlus 8 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, with a global score of 76 against 75.8. OnePlus 8's design is noticeably newer, just a little thinner and just a bit lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. The OnePlus 8 counts with a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 8 also has more RAM.
OnePlus 8 has a brighter screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a quite bigger display, a bit higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a quite better pixel density. OnePlus 8 captures much clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a way higher (4K) video definition, a larger aperture for better low light captures and a way better resolution camera in the back.
The OnePlus 8 counts with a slightly better storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage. OnePlus 8 has just a little better battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has an 8% greater battery size.
