The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has an overall score of 81.7, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's 75.8 general score. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has 5.0 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is a older and a bit thicker cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, but Samsung was able to build it just a little bit lighter anyway.
The Galaxy Note Edge has a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with an additional graphics processor. Galaxy Note Edge features a much more vibrant display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a higher pixel density.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a much better memory for games and applications than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has 64 GB internal storage. The Galaxy Note Edge has a superior camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Galaxy Note Edge also has a way higher (4K) video resolution and a back camera with lot more mega-pixels.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
