Comparison review
Xperia XZ3 has an overall score of 79.6, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's overall score of 75.8. Although Xperia XZ3 is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, we must tell that it's also a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Xperia XZ3 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations.
The Xperia XZ3 counts with a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. The Xperia XZ3 features a better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Xperia XZ3 also has a greater number of pixels per inch in the screen and a better 1440 x 2880 resolution.
The Xperia XZ3 has a quite bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Xperia XZ3 also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Sony Xperia XZ3 captures better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a larger aperture, a lot better resolution camera and a much higher 3840x2160 video definition.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has better battery performance than Xperia XZ3, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3330mAh.
