The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a general score of 84.2, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5's global score of 74.4. These phones work with Android operating system, but Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has older 14 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat version. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a noticeably newer phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, but it's a bit thicker and extremely heavier.

Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a very superior camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light photos, a way more MP back camera and a much better video resolution.
