Asus ROG Phone II is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, having an 88 score against 74.4. Even though the Asus ROG Phone II is newer than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, it's a lot heavier and thicker. The Asus ROG Phone II counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Asus ROG Phone II also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Asus ROG Phone II counts with a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has a bit less pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a quite larger screen. Asus ROG Phone II takes much better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a way better (4K) video resolution, a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera and a bigger camera aperture.
